The various requirements need not all be performed by a single Sim. For example, if you have 1 Sim encounter a Mummy, that counts - even if that Sim later dies or leaves the household.
If you haven't lifted Politics, and you have some of your house above ground and some below ground, you MAY travel between the above ground and below ground areas of your house during Zombie hours. You must stay within the 8x8 area, and you cannot linger - you can only be outdoors while moving from the basement to the upper floors or vice versa.
If you HAVE lifted Politics, then you may not go outside at all during zombie hours, except in your original 8x8 area as above. (In case you haven't finished building your Politics house yet).
Of course if you've lifted Military and Paranormal there are no more zombies, so you may do as you wish.
We were under the impression that painting increased your work performance the same way the drafting table did and have discovered painting doesn't increase performance at all. Only the sketches made on the drafting table will. Therefore if your sim is in the Stylist Profession in an attempt to clear Entertainment, you may purchase the drafting table. You may still only have one until Business is lifted so if you are doing Architect and Stylist at the same time your sims will have to share.
It turns out that mermaids (like aliens) cannot be identified as such in the relationship panel. Should your prestige human heir accidentally breed with or marry such a Sim, you're still OK - but any heirs must be pure human (must never have had a Hydration or Brain Power need, for example). Mermaid or alien offspring from such a union can still lift a restriction, but they cannot ever be the heir.
It is possible to have hampers without Ambitions. We've decided to extend the rule for Ambitions that requires you to have a hamper on the lot before lifting Medical.
If your Buy Mode objects contain any hampers, you have to have one on the lot if you haven't lifted Medical. Just buy and place a hamper somewhere on the lot - no blooper, of course.
http://ts3ac.wikispaces.com/Medicalhttp://ts3ac.wikispaces.com/Science (restricts laundry facilities, but you make remove the hamper once you have lifted Medical).
Professionals (Firemen, Stylists, etc.) are not considered Service Sims - you may socialise with them before Espionage is lifted. If YOUR Sim is a professional, he may consider his fellow professionals to be co-workers for the purposes of not losing your job due to forced days off for Master Thief purposes.
Previously there was not a rule restricting the purchase of Elixirs before Paranormal was lifted. That has been tweaked to restrict the purchase of Elixirs by Paranormal as well as Military (If the Elixir Store is not in your network) and Business.
IF you have already purchased them and Paranormal is not clear, then simply delete them. You will not have to take a penalty.
If you change your Library lot to a Small Park, you MAY visit it before Journalism is lifted (assuming it is in your network, or you have lifted Military), but only to meet with and interact with other Sims.
It is now legal to make and eat ambrosia, provided you've lifted Culinary, Naturalist (plus its prerequisites), and Paranormal. In particular, even prestige ghosts can do so (though not the current heir).
The "90 day rule" (also the "76 day rule") for non-prestige occults has been clarified to apply no matter what. If you chug Young Again potions, you still have to count the total days your Sim has been in the household against the 76/90 day limit.
You can't use "illegal" beds for your founder at Uni, nor bring them home with you (indeed, you shouldn't have such items at all in the dorm).
If you've already broken this rule, you may (without restriction) replace your "illegal" beds with "legal" beds and adjust your funds so that you neither gain nor lose money. We apologise for the confusion.
TOURNAMENT RULE TWEAK: NRAAS STORY PROGRESSION SETTINGS:
When setting up Nraas Story Progressions make sure you also change newborn gender to random. General options -> Options: pregnancy -> Newborn gender: Set to random.
You now change the lifespan settings for prestige human, witch, and plant challenges when your founder becomes an elder, not when you lift Hopelessness.
You need at least 2 Sims of child age or higher living in the household in order to make group meals. A founder single Mum with an infant is still stuck with single serving meals until her kid grows up a bit.
We've drastically reduced the Painting and Handiness requirements for the base game Education lift. Maxxing 4 skills AND completing a bunch of challenges was deemed much too hard, and basically impossible for the founder to complete without Uni time.
TOURNAMENT CLARIFICATION: BOOKCASES Journalism stated you could only buy the cheapest bookcase available. That has been amended to the following: Sims may only have only ONE bookshelf for the household, and it must not have a Fun score greater than 2 and no environment score. .
Mob payments begin on the FIRST Monday. There is no 1 week grace period. We do not anticipate this makes much difference - most players will spend almost all their cash on building their house on the Sunday.
The network is a MILITARY restriction. Military restricts where you can go; if it is in your network, then even if Military would otherwise not allow you to go there (ie it's not your home, work, or school), you may.
But it doesn't suppress any other restrictions. For example, until you lift Journalism you may not visit the Library, EVEN IF IT IS IN YOUR NETWORK.
If you're doing a prestige human male and get made alien pregnant before you lift Hopelessness, you can switch to prestige alien with no penalty. Conversely, if you're doing prestige alien and fail to get made alien pregnant (if male) or fail to meet any aliens you could breed with (if female) before Hopelessness is lifted, you can switch to prestige human without penalty.
The NRAAS Retuner mod IS allowed, but you can only use it to suppress actions you could normally cancel. You cannot use it to suppress Scolding, for example.
